Due to scheduling conflicts with the Holy Cross Collegiate gymnasium, we will not be celebrating Holy Mass this coming Saturday (Sept. 25). In the past we would have used the Sacred Heart Academy gymnasium for Saturday vigil Masses, but unfortunately due to COVID spacing requirements and space restrictions, this is not currently feasible.
Instead, we will host two Masses on Sunday morning (Sept. 26), one at 9:00am and 11:00am, and invite parishioners to attend the Mass time that best works with their needs. We apologize for the inconvenience that this causes for parishioners and families, but as we do not yet have a church of our own, and must share space with the local Catholic schools, this conflict is unavoidable.
Finally, we ask that all parishioners put the following dates into their calendars, as they are dates o sports tournaments at Holy Cross Collegiate that will require us to again cancel the Saturday evening vigil Mass and move to two Sunday Masses:
September 25 (Two Masses on Sunday, Sept. 26)
October 16 (Two Masses on Sunday, Oct.17)
October 30 (Two Masses on Sunday, Oct. 30)
November 13 (Two Masses on Sunday, Nov. 14)
December 4 (Two Masses on Sunday, Dec. 5)
December 11 (Two Masses on Sunday, Dec. 12)
January 8 (Two Masses on Sunday, Jan. 9)
January 22 (Two Masses on Sunday, Jan. 23)
January 29 (Two Masses on Sunday, Jan. 30)
March 12 (Two Masses on Sunday March 13)
Once again, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. May God aid us in completing our new church building soon, so such difficulties might cease. Also, thank you again to Holy Cross Collegiate and Sacred Heart Academy for accommodating us so generously.
(Note: We do not pay rent for the use of these facilities - they've been offered for free to us throughout the past 14 years by the schools and Christ the Redeemer school district.)
